Some planner papers just feel special.
For me, Tomoe River paper has always been one of them. I first discovered it through Hobonichi when I was in Japan, and honestly, I completely understood why so many planner people fell in love with it.
It is beautifully thin, surprisingly versatile, and it gives every page so much possibility. One page can be full of writing, another can be covered in stickers, another can have photos, doodles, acrylic markers, fountain pens, watercolour, washi tape... whatever you feel like using that day.
And somehow, even when you fill it with memories, it stays so much less bulky than traditional planner paper.

My Tomoe River paper story
I have a real soft spot for Hobonichi. Years ago, before they were so easy to get in the UK, Suteki Stickers even used to offer Hobonichi pre-orders.
Sadly, Hobonichi only allows stockists with a physical brick-and-mortar shop, which we don't have. So while I still love them, they are not something I'm able to stock.
But my love for Tomoe River paper never went away.
Earlier this year, I was using a Hobonichi Cousin and filling it in a way that felt very much like me. Some days I wrote a lot. Some days I drew things from the day, or from something I was watching. Some days I stuck in photos, stickers, packaging, tickets or anything else I wanted to remember.
There were no rules. That is what I love most.

Every page can be different
One of the biggest reasons I love Tomoe River paper is that it lets each page become whatever it needs to be.
Some pages are creative and full of colour. Some are mostly writing. Some are messy. Some are simple. Some are little snapshots of whatever I was into at the time.
I have pages with illustrations from TV shows, games and random things I was enjoying that week. I have pages about normal family days, school runs, shop updates, new stationery and tired evenings where I just needed somewhere to empty my head.
That is what makes planners so special to me. They do not have to be perfect. They just have to be yours.

Memory keeping without the pressure
I love the idea of memory keeping, but I do not think it needs to look scrapbook-perfect.
Sometimes memory keeping is a beautiful spread with photos and carefully chosen stickers.
Sometimes it is a sticker from happy mail, a bit of packaging, a receipt, a leaflet from a day out, or a note about something small that made you smile.
Looking back through old planner pages is one of my favourite things. You start spotting tiny pieces of your life that you would probably have forgotten otherwise.
A planner can hold so much more than appointments.

It is made for experimenting
I am also a massive stationery magpie, so I love testing pens, markers and colours in my planner.
Tomoe River paper is thin, but it is not boring or delicate in the way people sometimes expect. I have used fountain pens, acrylic markers, brush pens, stickers, washi, photos and colour swatches in mine.
Different supplies will always behave differently, and I always recommend testing first, but I love having a planner paper that makes me want to experiment.

So where does Wonderland222 come in?
After using and loving Tomoe River paper for years, I knew I wanted to bring another Tomoe River planner option to Suteki Stickers.
That is one of the reasons I was so excited about Wonderland222.
I tried one of their planners a few years ago and really liked it. The quality felt lovely, but the layout was what really stood out to me.
Some planners give you beautiful paper, but also take up a lot of page space with quotes or decorative elements. That can be lovely, but sometimes I just want the page to be mine.
Wonderland222 gives you that space.
The layouts feel clean, practical and flexible. There is room to write, decorate, time block, memory keep, stick things in, use your fountain pens, test your supplies and make every page feel completely different if you want to.

Why I wanted Wonderland222 at Suteki Stickers
One of my favourite parts of running Suteki Stickers is introducing people to stationery they might not have discovered otherwise.
Wonderland222 feels like a really lovely fit for the shop because it is practical, beautiful and full of possibility. It is the kind of planner that does not try to force you into one way of planning.
You can keep it minimal.
You can cover it in stickers.
You can write pages and pages.
You can use it as a memory journal, a functional planner, a creative notebook, or a little bit of everything.
For me, that is exactly what a good planner should do.

Wonderland222 2027 pre-orders are now open
I am so excited to finally welcome Wonderland222 to Suteki Stickers.
The 2027 planners are now available to pre-order until the end of July, giving you plenty of time to look through the options and decide which one might be right for you.
I cannot wait to see which planners you choose, and even more than that, I cannot wait to see what you do with them.
