Booking your adventure
Tickets & payment plans
The important bits about securing and managing your place.
What curious things are included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes:
- Full-day entry
- Workshops and creative activities
- A carefully curated selection of small-business shops
- A themed event workbook
- Lunch
- Hot and cold drinks throughout the day
- Curious surprises along the way
How does the payment plan work?
You can secure your place with a £13 deposit. Around one month later, you will receive an email inviting you to set up the remaining balance as a recurring payment plan.
The remaining balance is split into 4 monthly payments of £13, bringing the total ticket price to £65.
When you set up the recurring payment plan, the first £13 payment will be taken immediately. The remaining payments will then be taken automatically on the same date each month.
If you'd prefer your recurring payments to be taken on a different date, simply email hello@sutekistickers.com and I'll happily move your payment date to one that works better for you.
Please set up your payment plan within one month of receiving your invitation email. If it hasn't been set up by then, I'll send you a friendly reminder just in case it has slipped your mind.
If you'd like to pay your remaining balance early, just send me an email and I'll be happy to arrange this for you.
If a payment doesn't go through, the payment system will automatically try again. I won't manually retry the payment, as doing so could result in two payments being taken.
If you receive an email saying your payment plan has been cancelled, don't panic! Just get in touch at hello@sutekistickers.com and I'll help get everything back on track.
Payment plans are a commitment to complete all scheduled payments, and deposits and payments already made are non-refundable.
Subject to tickets still being available, the deposit payment plan will be available until 27th September 2026. This ensures all scheduled payments can be completed before The Curious Planner Meet.
What happens after I've booked my ticket?
Once you've booked your ticket or paid your deposit, you'll receive a welcome email with a link to your attendee form.
Please complete the form at your earliest convenience, as it helps me begin planning for everyone attending.
More information will continue to be shared through email, social media and the event pages as we get closer to the day.
Are tickets refundable if I fall down the wrong rabbit hole?
Tickets, deposits and payment-plan payments are non-refundable.
Planning begins many months in advance, and ticket payments help cover costs such as securing the venue, activities, supplies and other preparations needed to bring the event to life.
Please make sure you're able to attend before purchasing and read the full Terms & Conditions for all the important details.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. If you can no longer attend and have found someone who would like to take over your place or payment plan, please email hello@sutekistickers.com as soon as possible.
Please include the new attendee's name and email address so I can update the booking, contact them directly and make sure I receive their dietary, accessibility and other important attendee information.
Finding a replacement attendee is the responsibility of the original ticket holder. I'm happy to transfer the booking, but I'm unable to advertise or resell the place on your behalf.
What happens if the event sells out?
The Curious Planner Meet has a fixed number of spaces, and once they're filled, the event will be sold out.
The only way a place may become available after this is if an existing attendee finds someone to take over their booking and asks me to transfer it.
Before the day
Getting ready
Forms, seating, timings and everything you'll need before you arrive.
Do I need to fill out a form before the event?
Yes. All attendees need to complete the attendee form covering dietary requirements, allergies, accessibility needs and other important event details.
If you purchased more than one ticket, a separate form will need to be completed for each person attending.
Please complete the form as soon as possible so I have plenty of time to make the necessary arrangements.
Will I have an allocated seat?
Yes. Everyone will have an allocated seat and table for the day, giving you your own main seating area while you journal, create and enjoy the event.
I'll release the seating plan before the event, and it will also be available on the day so you'll know where to go when you arrive.
Although you'll have your own seat, there will be opportunities throughout the day to move around, chat with other attendees and take part in activities together.
Can I choose who I sit with?
Closer to the event, I'll invite attendees to submit seating requests.
I'll do my very best to seat you with the people you'd like to sit with, although I can't guarantee that every request will be possible.
When will the timetable be released?
The timetable will be shared a little closer to the event once all of the different parts of the day have been finalised.
What time should I arrive?
Arrival times and final event timings will be announced closer to the day.
I'll update the event information and email attendees with everything they need to know before arriving.
What should I bring with me?
More details will be shared closer to the event, but I recommend bringing your favourite planner or journal, pens and anything you enjoy using creatively.
You may also want to leave a little room in your bag for shopping, workbook pieces and any curious treasures you collect during the day.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
You're very welcome to embrace the Wonderland theme if you'd like, but there is absolutely no expectation to dress up.
Your day in Wonderland
On the day
Food, activities, shopping, breaks and enjoying the event your way.
Can I come alone, or do I need a little tea party of my own?
Absolutely, you can come alone. Lots of people attend planner and stationery events solo, and I want the day to feel welcoming whether you come with friends or arrive by yourself.
You'll be seated with other attendees, giving you a natural opportunity to get to know the people around you.
It is quite common for planner-meet tables to create chats before the event. If your table doesn't have one, you're very welcome to set one up.
You can mingle as much or as little as you like. Some activities may involve working with your table or speaking with others, but you don't have to take part if you don't wish to.
Planner meets are a lovely way to meet people with similar interests, and it isn't unusual to arrive alone and leave with new friends.
Will there be lunch, or should I pack emergency biscuits?
Lunch is included with your ticket, so no emergency biscuits are required—although snacks are always supported in spirit.
Your attendee form gives you the opportunity to tell me about dietary requirements and allergies so arrangements can be made in advance.
Will drinks be available throughout the day?
Yes. Hot and cold drinks will be available throughout the day so you can stay refreshed while you journal, shop, chat and create.
Will there be shops?
Yes. A carefully curated selection of small businesses will be joining us for the day, with shop announcements shared closer to the event.
Curious clue: some doors may open before others.
Will the shops accept cash or card?
Each shop manages its own payments, so accepted payment methods may vary from business to business.
Most shops will usually accept card and cash, but each vendor will be able to confirm what they are accepting.
Will there be workshops and activities?
Yes. Workshops and activities are planned throughout the day. Some will be guided, some will be relaxed and some may be a little more curious than they first appear.
More details will be revealed as we get closer to the event.
Is there somewhere I can take a break?
Yes. Throughout the day, you'll have access to a separate break room where refreshments will be available.
You're welcome to use this room whenever you need a little time away from the main event space.
You can also visit the hotel's main bar or Costa Coffee, both located within the building.
This is your day, so please feel free to step away and enjoy things at your own pace.
Can I leave and come back during the day?
Yes. You're welcome to come and go as you wish during the day, whether you need to visit your car, return to your hotel room or simply take a little break.
Is there somewhere to leave my belongings?
You'll have an allocated seat and table where you can leave your belongings during the day.
There is no cloakroom or supervised storage area, so belongings are left at your own risk.
Will Wi-Fi be available?
Yes. Wi-Fi will be available, and the details will be shared on the day.
Will photos be taken?
Yes! Every attendee will receive access to a private Scene digital disposable camera app for the event.
Throughout the day you can snap photos of your favourite moments, creative projects, new friends and curious discoveries. Rather than everyone keeping their own photos, they'll all be developed into one shared event gallery for everyone to enjoy afterwards.
I may also take additional photographs and videos throughout the day to help capture the atmosphere of the event and share a few memories on social media and future event pages.
If you'd rather not appear in photographs, please let me know before or during the event and I'll do my very best to respect your wishes.
Can younger attendees come along?
The Curious Planner Meet is designed primarily with adults in mind, but younger attendees are welcome if you feel they will enjoy the day and are able to be considerate of the other guests attending.
Babies are welcome if they need to stay with their parent or carer.
There shouldn't be anything at the event that is unsuitable for a younger person, but the activities and pace are aimed at an adult audience, and I cannot control every conversation between attendees.
If you're unsure whether the event would be suitable, please email me and I'll be happy to discuss it with you.
Finding your way
The venue & accessibility
Practical information about the hotel, parking and making the day comfortable.
Where exactly is the venue?
The Curious Planner Meet will be held at Village Hotel Dudley, DY1 4TB.
There is free parking available in the hotel car park, and more detailed arrival information will be shared closer to the event.
If you're travelling from further afield or planning to stay overnight, the Village Hotel offers accommodation, making it easy to enjoy the event without an early morning journey.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. There is ramp access into the building, and the event is being held on the ground floor.
Accessible toilets are located close to the event space.
The attendee form also gives you the opportunity to tell me about any accessibility requirements so I can do my best to make the day as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
If you haven't completed the form yet, please do so as soon as possible.
