A Tough Decision: No Hobonichi This Year

A Tough Decision: No Hobonichi This Year

Posted by Amy Marson on

This one’s a little bittersweet.

When I first started offering Hobonichi pre-orders, there were no UK stockists — and it felt really special to help planner lovers here get their hands on something so well-loved. I adored bundling them up with the little gifts and sharing the excitement of a new planner season with you all.

But times have changed — and in some ways, that’s a good thing! ✨ There are now several UK-based stockists offering a fantastic range of Hobonichi planners, with faster shipping and fewer hurdles for customers. With that in mind, I’ve made the decision not to offer Hobonichi pre-orders for 2025/6.

It wasn’t an easy choice, but I want to focus on the things I can offer in a way that’s sustainable, joyful, and useful to you — and right now, that means stepping back from Hobonichi.

🇬🇧 Where to Get Your Hobonichi in the UK

If you're planning your 2026 setup, here are some wonderful places to check out:

  • The Journal Shop – Long-time UK stockist with a wide range of Hobonichi planners and accessories

  • Hunter Paper Co. – Based in Belfast, with a great selection of Weeks and extras

  • Art from the Heart – Creative studio and shop in Harrogate with Hobonichi planners

  • Nishura EAST – A London-based shop focused on Japanese lifestyle products

  • Stilo e Stile – Based in Europe, but ships to the UK with a broad selection

  • Amazon Japan – Hobonichi's official Amazon storefront, great for international orders

  • Hobonichi Store (Japan) – The original source for exclusive items and full range

Thank you so much to everyone who supported my Hobonichi pre-orders in the past — it genuinely meant the world. I’ll still be here if you ever want to talk planner formats, compare covers, or just share in the excitement of a new year ahead.

— With gratitude and love, Amy
